Complex modeling of 1866 iron dome of the US Capitol
Nyfeler Associates, LLC completed a complex task for modeling the crowded structural and other components inside the 1866 iron dome of the US Capitol. We want to thank Grant Stickler of Duncan-Parnell, Inc. for his assistance with some of the software and equipment we used to generate a 5,000,000,000-node, 63GB drawing, later utilized by our client to design improvements that could be constructed and installed without conflict.
