The Trimble SX12 scanning station is a blend of efficiency and technology. It combines high-speed 3D laser scanning, quality imaging, and seamless surveying to help you better visualize the site and the accompanying environment. This minimizes the need for costly site visits.
Long-Range View
It has a green laser pointer that yields 6mm at 100m. The EDM laser point spot diameter is 14 mm, making it the smallest in the industry, thus giving you a long-range view.
High Accuracy
The SX12's scanning angular accuracy is 5", it has a 1.5mm scan range noise at 200m, and it offers an average of six minutes of scanning time. It also runs on the principle of band scanning, using a rotating prism in the telescope.
Enhanced Eye Safety
The light source is a green pulsed laser at 1550nm with automatic focusing. It promotes eye safety without compromising visibility and is operable through all light modes. The atmospheric correction is available through the field and office software.

The SX12's quality image performance is supported by its three calibrated cameras in a telescope powered by Trimble VISION™ technology, a live view frame rate of up to 15 fps, and a 360° x 300° field of view.
