Director of Additive Manufacturing Solutions, Carlton McFaden, explains what viewers can expect to see.
Join us for part two of our Save the Canoe webinar series as we show how additive manufacturing can be used to reverse engineer and replace obsolete parts. We will show the process of replacing the broken, original seats from a canoe with new, 3D-printed versions.
In Part 2, we will take the scan data we collected and prepared in Part 1 and use Markforged's Eiger software to:
- Reinforce the part
- 3D-print the part on the X7
- Post-process the part
- Assemble the seat and take it for a test run!
