GNSS Receivers, Imagery, & LIDAR continue to provide higher accuracy asset locations. As such datum transformations are required to project geographic data on a map. This presentation will detail the common datum transformations used to project GIS data as well as the implications these choices will have with respect to accuracy when choosing a datum transformation for use with Esri’s Collector app. Publishing apps such as ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, & ArcGIS Online will also be discussed.

This presentation is for all GNSS field technicians as well as Desktop GIS users who work with more than one datum or coordinate system.
