Autodesk® Stitcher™ Unlimited photo stitching software enables photographers, panorama creation specialists, interactive media designers, and others to quickly create wide-angle images and panoramas for engaging virtual tours, interactive 3D web content, large-format panoramic prints, and seamless matte paintings.
With its highly intuitive user interface, five-step workflow, and powerful image stitching technology, Stitcher enables you to merge your images in just a few clicks.
In addition, Autodesk Stitcher interoperates with Adobe® Photoshop® software and offers support for industry-standard image, web, and video file formats, including high dynamic range images (HDRI).
Five-Step Stitcher Workflow
• Image import—Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited 2009 is compatible with a variety of lenses, from 185-degree fish-eye to rectilinear formats. Use of fish-eye lenses allows artists to create fully spherical panoramas with fewer images. Stitcher Unlimited also supports HDR image import and generation, and import of existing panoramas.
- Stitching—Create partial or spherical panoramas in just a few clicks. Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited allows automatic stitching of overlapping pictures shot from a single point of view.
- Alignment—In addition to automating the photo stitching process, Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited delivers automatic alignment. There is also an option for manual alignment.
- Touch-up—Quickly remove artifacts and correct anomalies such as ghosting and lens flare with the Stencil toolset. In addition, a high level of interoperability with Photoshop image-editing software makes it easy to retouch images in this industry-standard package as well. Autodesk Stitcher Unlimited also delivers automatic color correction.
- Rendering—Render your whole panorama or use the Crop tool to define a specific render zone. Projection modes include flat, spherical, cylindrical, or cubical.
